I'm trying to move a website for a church over to my server. The service they use for their domain name is awful so I'm setting it up with ZoneEdit. Now I tried to make a CNAME on ZoneEdit to point at my domain (dynamic IP) and it says it can't do it because there's a MX record. The MX record exists back at the (awful) registrar's settings. The problem is that I can't delete it, the registrar just automatically adds the MX record back. I would use the registrar instead of ZoneEdit but their control panel hates any settings I put in. What do I do? _________________ -Blake | New Server :D

Try to transfer over to another registrar. I have never had problems with godaddy, no-ip, or namecheap, so I'd recommend one of these.
You'll have to read up on domain name registrar transfer, but it is possible. _________________ Stephen
