PHP for Windows

The latest Preconfigured PHP 8 Packages require Windows 8 or later:

1. Download the Preconfigured PHP 8.5.5 package for Windows (64-bit) (or its 32-bit variant).
2. Double-click on the installer icon to execute it.
3. Follow the on-screen instructions until the setup is over.
4. Declare the installed interpreter in Abyss Web Server by following the PHP 8 Configuration instructions.

If you have and old version of Windows or scripts that are not compatible with PHP 8, download a legacy versions of PHP.

PHP for macOS

The latest Preconfigured PHP 8 for macOS ships as a Universal 2 Binary and require macOS 10.9 or later (including Big Sur 11, Monterey 12, Ventura 13, Sonoma 14, Sequoia 15, and Tahoe 26):

1. Download the Preconfigured PHP 8.5.5 package for macOS.
2. Double-click on the package icon to execute it.
3. Follow the on-screen instructions until the setup is over.
