Hello,
I've been trying to find ActiveHTML (the free version) to handls the ASP stuff on my Abyss server...no luck. I was wondering...since I have Windows XP Pro with the .NET 2.0 framework installed, can I use that instead???
I think that the only reason that I (and possibly others) is desperatly seeking the ActiveHTML is that the instructioins on the server are very clear on how to install them (...hey, I need that...). If it can, could someone give me a 1-2-3 steps on how to install them on my Abyss Pro server? _________________ Robert D Wimer |

ASP and ASP.NET are different scripting languages. ASP support needs ActiveHTML (which can run your ASP scripts only and does not handle ASP.NET).
But native ASP.NET support will be available in the coming Abyss Web Server 2.3 and does not need any third party product (except the .NET Framework).
Please have a look on 2.3 Beta section of this forum to download a test release of version 2.3 and start using ASP.NET today. _________________ Support Team
