I can view the access.log file, but that doesn't help when I want to see what's happening with my perl script.
my cgi.log is empty...although there are errors in my perl page loading.
and there isn't a cgi-bin in the abyss folder? Is that normal?
thanks,

Abyss doesn't require a cgi-bin because it already knows how to execute cgi scripts. As for the log, are you sure it is activated? If it's empty then its probably not logging anything, including in access.log. _________________ Andy (AbyssUnderground) (previously The Inquisitor)

bmcgonag,
Is log/cgi.log correctly set as the value of the CGI error file in your configuration (Console > Hosts > Configure > Scripting parameters > CGI Parameters)?
How do you know that there are errors in your Perl script? _________________ Support Team

I test the script by putting a simple print command in and then moving it down thte script as I uncomment each part. When the line doesn't print to the next page on submit...I nkow tha tthere is an error there somewhere. The logs however, help to tell me what the error might be.
Thanks, I'll check my settings.
