I've just updated my MySQL version to the latest version and I got this error: Quote: | This application has failed to start because LIBMYSQL.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem | I have reinstalled MySQL but can't workout why I get this error.
Also I couldn't find any useful information on these forums _________________ Olly |

Fixed it:
The new installer 4.0.20a doesn't put LIBMYSQL.dll in the bin directory, you need to copy the dll to that directory to get that tool working _________________ Olly |

Download the MySQL .zip package and find the DLL you need in there.
It's in the "lib\debug" folder. _________________ Bienvenidos! |

go to:
<Place MySQL installed>\lib\debug
you can copy the dll across to the dir (\bin) and it should work. _________________ Olly |
