|
|
Hello..
I'm working on a website locally using Xampp and I need to access the non-local site at the same time. The non-local site has a dedicated IP. Is there any way to open the non-local site (so I can copy and paste) while still viewing the local site? I thought about accessing it with the IP but it resolves to the domain name.
Thanks in advance. _________________ <a href="http://www.purplepenguinmedia.co.uk/">Web Design Doncaster</a>: We create amazing websites that gives best results on time and affordable for our clients. |

fastpurplemedia,
Despite the fact that you are using XAMPP and ask for help about it here, we will help you on that one. :)
You can "fool" your computer and declare the domain name as associated locally to the local IP address. The procedure is outlined in http://www.aprelium.com/abyssws/articles/access-test.html . _________________ Support Team

Restrict javascript browser cross-domain calls,
You can make a local proxy server, read xml file using the server side, you can provide ajax call |
