|

i'm about to go out of my mind looking for somebody that has a software (not a service), that i can get stats about my website visitors including ips.
i have windows xp, and i have abyss server, i don't need or care about unix, linux, apache, whatever. i can't chmod files or ascii files, or 755 or 777.
i just need logs.
if anybody knows how to do this (I don't want to pay for a monthly 3rd party service).
i know google has google analytics but it doesn't show ip addresses.
please help.
thanks. travis. |

Hello travisjforeman--
Fluid Dynamics has a very nice tracking /stats program with a free download:

It's better than nothing. it doesn't show searches that were made,
but i left my google analytics on there too. I haven't checked their site much but was thinking it might have offered search strings.
I'll check on that next.
but now i can tell who's hitting my pages with their ips, where they are going, and where they came from.
thank you axis. |

I was actually refering to the way that people get to my site for instance the search string used in google to get there.
but, i'm now interested in having the search on my site that you mentioned.
won't get time till later today to check it.
thanks. travis. |

the db masters form mailer looks good, but i'm having problems getting it to work:
if you try emailing, you get this message
Warning: mail() [function.mail]: Failed to connect to mailserver at "localhost" port 25, verify your "SMTP" and "smtp_port" setting in php.ini or use ini_set() in C:\Program Files\Abyss Web Server\htdocs\formmail\formmailer.php on line 511
here is my form page if you care to look.

thanks for any/all help. |

travisjforeman,
The error means that you have no outgoing mail server (SMTP) installed on your computer. _________________ Support Team

Hello Impamytat--
What are you referring to? This thread discusses the AXS Tracking Code, formmailer and FDSE.
What are you trying to do that you can't?
Regards,
Axis
