Whenever I view a page hosted off Abyss web server that has an embedded flash file, it shows up like this:
When viewed on the actual site, it loads the flash properly.
Any ideas as to what is causing this? |

Moved to Web Design, this is not an Abyss bug.
It looks like you probably don't have all the files associated with the flash object. It might help to check the flash site you got it from to make sure you have all of the flash objects.
Today, some flash objects are protected by being made specifically for the persons server. When the flash object starts it will try to grab some data from the server it is on. If it find it, it will play. If it doesn't it won't play. Its a feature to stop people stealing flash objects and using them on their own sites. _________________ Andy (AbyssUnderground) (previously The Inquisitor)

If that were the case, I would expect the flash file not to appear on wii-index.com.
Both my dev box and wii-index.com has the same swf files, yet it is only viewable on the production site...
Edit: Tested with another web server, same thing occurs. I'll have to find another flash file to test with. |
