|
|
Hi,
I tried installing Abyss on Lubuntu.
Did the following: tar xzfm <Abyss Web Server installation package>
(actual version ofcourse)
The package is uncompressed, but that's all there is.
Has the install procedure to start automatically??
Tried to start abyssws but get a "no console" warning, that's all that happens...
Any help will be welcome
Btw new to installing Server(s) under Linux, had already several years 2 Linux PC's. |

Thanks for the reply.
Tried several times to install as described but with no success.
Installed Abyss now on Win10, that's a lot easier. |

If you want to toy around with Abyss on Linux, you can check out my site --> http://abyssvids.pksml.net/
I'd recommend Linux over Windows any day because of the enhanced security. There is a lot to learn, but it's worth it IMO. _________________ Stephen

jannuh,
Can you post here the errors or the problems you encountered so that we can assist you in solving them? "No success" is caused sometimes by a simple typo or a bad file name... _________________ Follow @abyssws on Twitter
