I thought I'd take a break from working on customer's web sites to update my own.
There's still a few articles to be added, but most of it is up and running :)

Very nice! The theme is simple, shiny, and easy to navigate. Not to mention, no Google ads!
BTW, you're running X2 v2.3.0.5??? I can't complain, though. I'm still running 2.4.0.3.
Would you like to add some or all your sites to http://abyss-websites.com ? _________________ Stephen

True enough! I have a couple of licenses but this is my 'playground' server. I haven't generated enough traffic on this site to move it to one of my production boxes yet.
I'm in the process of upgrading most of my servers. Currently they are all Compaq DL380's w/P3s & 512mb. I have a crop of DL360's (the slim line servers) with P4/1.6MHz, 2GB RAM and dual 36GB SCSI hot swaps mirrored all connecting to a SAN server w/ 12 x 300GB SATA hot swap drives. Once I get all the hardware in, I'll probably switch from win2k to XP and then update all the application software as well. When thats complete, I'll move these sites over and make sure to have the latest and greatest Abyss version too :) |

Who needs Gigaherts, my 500Mhz Pentium III server with 192MB RAM served pages just as fast as my 2Ghz dual core Opteron with 1GB does now. Windows does load minutes faster though. ;) _________________ -Blake | New Server :D

Na, Abyss is SO slim it only requires a 1Mhz processor! I can even get by with 8K of RAM but it hard to find that old stuff these days :D |

Probably not (unless you don't mind having a server handle 1 connection every minute). :) _________________ Support Team
