I have had a problem for a while now. The problem is that when I try to access a directory in my server, such as 127.0.0.1/files it just loads up a blank page on firefox and gives an erro on ie.
Any help appreciated,
UPDATE - Figured it out , i'm an idiot, i had it set to port 8080. I want to make it so its on port 80 though. The problem is I have my ports forwarded, and it still says listening error . I also tried to dmz and that doesn't work either.
Thanks. |

A listening error means an application is already using port 80. It has nothing to do with your router or DMZ.
Is Abyss starting up in service mode? Start -> Run -> services.msc
If Abyss is running twice, stop either the service or the icon in your system tray. *Note: abyssws.exe will be listed twice in the Task Manager. That's normal.
Then access http://127.0.0.1:9999 to see the console. Try setting it to port 80. _________________ Stephen

Programs like MySpaceIM and Skype use port 80 by default, either change it or stop these programs. _________________ Andy (AbyssUnderground) (previously The Inquisitor)
