|
|
Background
========
I have a dedicated server running Windows 2003 and IIS 6.0 and running several websites.
I am having trouble with the masses of parameters that need adjusting. For example, uploading a big file with <input name="file1" type="file" > is not possible with my present state of knowledge - it seems stuck on a maximum file size of 48k.
Question
======
1- Is it possible to upload large (>4Meg) files with Abyss?
2- Are there any other advantages for someone with my setup?
Thanks all,
Alfred |

Bibo,
Abyss Web Server does not impose any limit on file uploads. This limit is usually imposed by the scripting language (PHP, ASP.NET) that you are using. _________________ Follow @abyssws on Twitter

What does "Its quite good to have a little improved by ourselves with different stuff." mean?
Why is your site in your signature IIS, not Aprelium?
I look at your posts:
http://www.aprelium.com/forum/search.php?search_author=markspenser and they are generally zero information with maybe one exception.
Are you posting for link recognition from major search robots?

Hello, I'm running a windows home server (version 1) at the moment, and it comes a free domain name. I hate using the IIS interface and would like to use Abyss for regular HTTP hosting but leave the HTTPS hosting on IIS.
For example I would like to change the HTTP port on IIS to something other than 80 but leave HTTPS on the default. Then have Abyss running HTTP on 80 and change or disable HTTPS on Abyss. Do any of you forsee a problem with this? _________________ James Wiger |

As long as you don't configure them to use the same port, there should be no problem. _________________ Follow @abyssws on Twitter
